Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old holistic healing system from India. It focuses on balancing mind, body, and spirit through personalized lifestyle, diet, and treatments based on your unique constitution (dosha). Unlike Western medicine that treats symptoms, Ayurveda addresses root causes for lasting wellness.
Your first visit includes a comprehensive consultation where we discuss your health history, skin concerns, and wellness goals. We'll determine your Ayurvedic constitution (Vata, Pitta, or Kapha) and create a personalized treatment plan. Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete intake forms and relax.
Treatment times vary by service:
• Facials: 60-90 minutes
• Body treatments: 60-120 minutes
• Consultations: 45-60 minutes
• Acne treatments: 60-75 minutes
We recommend arriving 10 minutes early to settle in and relax before your treatment.
For skin treatments, come with a clean face (no makeup if possible). For body treatments, wear comfortable clothing. Avoid heavy meals 1-2 hours before your appointment. Stay hydrated and arrive relaxed — this is your time to unwind!
An Ayurvedic consultation includes pulse diagnosis, dosha assessment, and a detailed review of your lifestyle, diet, and health concerns. You'll receive personalized recommendations for diet, herbal remedies, and lifestyle modifications to address imbalances and support your wellness goals.
This depends on your goals. For maintenance, monthly facials are ideal. For acne or specific concerns, we typically recommend weekly or bi-weekly sessions initially, then spacing out as your skin improves. We'll create a personalized schedule during your consultation.
We don't accept insurance directly, but we can provide detailed receipts for HSA/FSA reimbursement for qualifying treatments. Many clients successfully use their health savings accounts for our services.
We request 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee. We understand emergencies happen — just communicate with us and we'll work with you.
